**Please note that the HPWC Staff Training is taking place July 27 at 5:00pm to July 30 at 12 Noon. Successful staff applicants should plan to attend this important training to more effectively serve in their roles at camp this summer.
Positions: Please choose which areas of camp are your preference. Note that Junior Staff will be assigned where we need help the most, but we do try to take your preferences into account when assigning roles. Please place in order of preference: Wrangler Assistant, Tipi Assistant, or Kitchen Help.

Horse Experience:
One of the highlights of HPWC is the focus on spending time with our horses. We ride on varying terrain for 4-6 hours almost every day. However, we do welcome Junior Staff with no horse experience as valuable members of our team. Please briefly describe the following:

RELEASE OF INFORMATION AND DECLARATION OF INTENT:
1. In order to decide my suitability for volunteer ministry in this organization, I hereby give the designated leadership of J2K Ministries consent to: verify the information provided by me in this Junior Staff Application; contact the references and employers listed in this application; and to obtain and verify any information from them and any other persons that the camp determines to be relevant to my position.
2. I further grant J2K Ministries permission to perform an internet search on me and to review and consider any information found posted by me on the Internet.
3. I understand that if J2K Ministries approves my volunteer application and later determines, at its discretion, at any time that I am not suitable for volunteer services in J2K Ministries or for the volunteer position for which I am applying, the leadership may terminate my volunteer service or volunteer position for any reason without advance notice. I fully understand that J2K Ministries is not legally required to inform me of the reason for this decision.
4. If J2K Ministries approves my application for a volunteer position, I am willing to sign documents including, but not limited to: Training Completion Forms, Volunteer Agreement Forms, and any other form that is necessary for documentation of activities, training, or for information recording/tracking and reporting that the camp requires. I will at all times cooperate fully with the camp leadership in the fulfillment of my duties and will keep all sensitive information I encounter in my role as a volunteer, confidential.
5. If at any time, I determine that for any reason I am unable to support or adhere to or follow the policies, procedure or doctrine of J2K Ministries, I will inform the camp leadership and will resign my volunteer position.
CRIMINAL RECORD AND VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK PROCESS:
It is the policy of J2K Ministries to require a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check (CRC) from all our staff prior to being accepted for a volunteer position working with youth at any of our camps. Upon acceptance of your staff application, we will email with a letter from Director Aaron Harbidge requesting that the RCMP waive the usual Record Check Fee.
**If you intend to volunteer at one of our camps, please make sure to get your CRC and Vulnerable Sector Check filled out and returned as soon as possible. Failure to do so prior to the start of camp may result in the rejection of your application.**
